Abstract

In this paper we approach women’s role in Iberian Iron Age socio-cultural processes and dynamics, focusing specially in cultual matters. Our analysis develops a holistic perspective of iconographic, epigraphic and archaeological data contexts with decorated and written Iberian pottery from the Tossal de Sant Miquel (Llíria, València), as this archaeological record is an outstanding evidence of complexity and stratification in Iberian society. In this paper we approach women’s role in Iberian Iron Age socio-cultural processes and dynamics, focusing specially in cultual matters.
