The New Business Suite S/4HANA

Abstract

After our theoretical discourse, let us now look at the concrete achievements in the development of the new SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA (S/4HANA) and how current SAP customers can make the transition. We will then explain the alternative option to move to a full Software as a Service (SaaS) model based on the same code, but configured for a pure SaaS consumer. Taking care of the existing customer base, while applying some of the most revolutionary technology and radical application architecture in S/4HANA, was of paramount importance to SAP's decision making. To effectively illuminate the complex processes at work, we will stress certain concepts throughout the text.
