ANALISIS PEMILIHAN SUPPLIER DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE ANALYTICAL HIERARCHY PROCESS ( STUDI KASUS PT.GUNUNG NAGA MAS )

Abstract

Supplier selection is one of the most important activity of company’s purchasing function. Supplier selection is a multi criteria problem that covering quantitative and qualitative criteria. One of the method that can be used is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This research was done at PT Cazikhal, a contractor company that will developed partner relationship with the wood supplier. Problems discussed in this research is: (1) how criterion’s and subcriterion’s priority ranking of supplier selection at PT Cazikhal? (2) which best supplier for PT Cazikhal based on AHP method? Sample of this research is decision makers and employees at PT Cazikhal who knowing the supplier’s performance. Sampling technique used judgment sampling because AHP method require depend on a group of expert as according to relevant specialist in decision making. This research used AHP method with the expert choice software. The final rating of relative importance’s supplier selection criteria was found: priority I is quality (0,486), priority II is price (0,277), priority III is service (0,091), and the next priority is delivery and quantity with same priority (0,073). The final rating of relative importance’s alternative was found : first priority is Supplier X (0,467), second priority is Supplier Z (0,336), and the last priority is Supplier X (0,198). From this results, we can suggest, if company will develop partner relationship, company majored to chosen Supplier X as wood supplier because supplier X is supplier with highest overall value. With this partner relationship, supply chain performance between company and supplier will be good progressively and can accelerate finished of project. Keywords
