Teoria dos custos de transação e abordagens evolucionistas: análise e perspectivas de um programa de pesquisa pluralista

Abstract

RESUMO A Teoria dos Custos de Transação tem sido considerada a “nova ortodoxia” da teoria da firma, e também é a razão de ter sido amplamente criticada por diferentes escolas de pensamento econômico. No entanto, parece haver sinais de complementaridade entre o TCT e as abordagens evolutivas da empresa. Algumas supostas interfaces são discutidas aqui, a fim de sugerir novas direções para uma agenda de pesquisa sobre a teoria da empresa, dentro de uma estrutura pluralista.ABSTRACT Transaction Costs Theory has been considered the “new orthodoxy” of the theory of the firm, and it is also the reason for it has been widely criticized by different schools of economic thought. However, there seems to be signs of complementarity between TCT and evolutionary approaches to the firm. Some alleged interfaces are discussed here, in order to suggest new directions for a research agenda on the theory of the firm, within a pluralistic framework.
