The large number of youth left uneducated, unskilled, and unemployed contributes serious risk for India’s demographic dividend. More young Indians need to be enrolled into vocational education programs which need to be designed with a view of the jobs available in the industry. Gram Tarang Employability Training Services trains these young people in technical and soft skills in a variety of sectors and trades with counseling as a key component in the entire process. Gram Tarang has a market-driven model that is both sustainable and up-scalable. Gram Tarang has trained over 300,000 youth to date with a strong placement record of over 70% for age-eligible candidates and received international acclaims.
