Abstract

In this paper, a personalized MPEG-4 compliant facial animation system in embedded platform is presented. We report a semi-automatic and rapid approach for personalized modeling from two orthogonal face images. The approach is very easy and efficient. With multi-dimension texture mapping, the personalized face model offers a much more lifelike behavior. The system can be used in game, interactive services etc. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2005.
