Abstract

To promote the water sports among college students, this paper mainly analyzes the differences in mental health of college students of different majors, and discusses the feasibility of applying water sports therapy to improve the mental of college students. A total of 800 colleges students from a common college in Beijing were randomly selected as the subjects, and half of them were subjected to a 3-month-long water sports program. The results show that water sports can greatly improve mental health of college students, enabling them to overcome difficulties and reduce negative emotions like depression and anxiety; water sports also enhance the fitness of college students, and help them develop good habits of physical exercise. The research results demonstrate the feasibility of promoting mental health of college students through water sports.
