Role of diet in people-work: Uses of nutrition in therapy with substance abusers

Abstract

The authors intend to review biological, diet-related factors frequently neglected in treatment, and they will present examples of how nutrition is integrated into the counseling process in a small, semi-rural alcohol and drug treatment program.
