Abstract

| Consideringthatsocialnetworkshavebecomethesceneofdebatesandpolitical movements in recent history, and that these data can serve as a basis for the promotion of research on engagement and polarization, this article presents three methods of social networkanalysis: Analysis Network; TextualAnalysis andEmojiAnalysis. The objective is to demonstrate the application of these methodologies and briefly teach how to apply each tool so that other researchers can take advantage of these resources. Taking advantage of the 2020 pandemic scenario, this research uses 45,121 tweets as a sample with the hashtag #Somos70porcento, collectedwiththe Netlytic software. In the end, it is observedthat each methodcanrevealnetworkbehaviors, profilesandfeelings. Thehashtag#Somos70porcento representsavoiceofrevoltinamomentofhealthcrisislikeexperiencedin2020andreinforces Social Media as a democratic and debate space.
