Analisis terhadap Model-model Penilaian Laman Sesawang Islam Berbentuk Dakwah di Malaysia (Analysis on Islamic Website Evaluation Models in the Form of Dakwah in Malaysia)

Abstract

Dakwah through information technology is taking place in Malaysia. Various efforts are taken by various agencies and individuals to spread the teachings of Islam to society. Dakwah can be implemented using various approaches including the use of information technology. The efficacy of dakwah using information technology has been proven by looking at the development of many Islamic websites in the Internet. Based on this rapid development, the development of information and communication technology has had a slight impact on the process of accepting knowledge and information retrieval. Incorrect and untrustworthy information dissemination as well as contributes to issues such as massive defamation issues should be emphasized in the community to evaluate the knowledge gained from the Internet. In the context of Islamic websites, there are various forms of websites that lead to the spread of Islamic teachings. But how do people receive information based on the knowledge uploaded to the site in terms of the credibility of the author’s credibility and information? And how the judgments are made before taking or disseminating to others? Therefore, this study focuses on the analysis of Islamic website evaluation models to identify the features and criteria in evaluating an Islamic website. Hopefully this study will benefit Internet users to evaluate website or other Internet hardware.
