Abstract

This paper presents the application of statistical methods for Electrocardiography (ECG) examinations. Computer program designed to assessment of deceleration capacity (DC) and acceleration capacity (AC) of the heart rate in the LabVIEW environment with Biomedical Toolkit can be used to analyze the health status of patients with heart diseases or patients after myocardial infarction (MI). A study on ECG recordings from Holter or biomedical data files is executed using specific tools of Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
