Experience report: Product creation through lean approaches

Abstract

This paper describes how lean approaches should be interpreted for the creation of software-based systems and includes an experience report on how that understanding of lean is applied in a project at a Siemens business unit. The case study addresses issues relating to the portfolio and product management, architecture, product lifecycle management processes and people and organization related issues. © 2010 Springer-Verlag.
