Abstract

Physical activity has well-documented positive effects in terms of prevention of colon, breast, endometrial, and lung cancer. Furthermore, it can reduce mortality of nonmetastatic colon cancer patients, increase quality of life, and reduce fatigue of women affected by breast cancer. The biological mechanisms of physical activity that influence cancer development and patient’s survival are not fully understood.
