Taliban Tactics and Strategies

Abstract

When the Taliban forces crossed the border and captured Spin Buldak, they asked the local armed groups to lay down their weapons and surrender. When the local groups resisted, the Taliban used their full military forces to implement their objectives. One of the most effective tactics used widely by the Taliban was influencing the political, ethnic, and family conflicts between the local armed groups. After they captured Qandahar, they announced their cause of fighting the corrupted local and regional armed groups for Islamic convictions to establish peace in the country.
