Abstract

Mobile web and native apps bring different pros and cons to the table. Intuit recently embarked on a journey to create a mobile web version of its online business banking solution. In developing this product, the team attempted to get the best of both worlds by creating a system that would recognize a device class and adapt content to better fit it, providing a more consistent user experience while still taking advantage of the wide accessibility gained by utilizing the mobile web. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
