Abstract

The purpose of this research is to present a proposal for the implementation of improvement in Production Management, to reduce operating costs, on the profitability of the company NASSI S.A.C. Trujillo, 2021. A quantitative-correlational investigation was carried out. The study determined the use of quality tools: QFD-Quality House, AMFE Matrix, DMAIC Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and Training. Likewise, the research used an Ishikawa Map to model the current situation of the company, being concrete in its 5 root causes such as inadequate maintenance, lack of training for personnel in production processes, lack of a tidiness and cleaning program, non-standardized times in the manufacture of the matrix structure and does not provide a production schedule. The Pareto diagram for the initial diagnosis in the production areas was prioritized 2 of 5 root causes due to a lack of production scheduling with 38.4% and inadequate maintenance recurring 33.4% of operating costs, which are, delivery of untimely products, obsolete and disused machines, however, all problems were solved through the implementation of the improvement proposal. In the results, a comparison of the current losses of S/83, 849.64 nuevos soles to a S/19, 991.84 nuevos soles of improved losses was estimated, and thus a profit was obtained for the company S/63, 857.81 nuevos soles. The economic and financial evaluation determined a NPV of S/50, 233.26 nuevos soles, an IRR of 58.99% and a benefit/cost value B/C of S/. 1.20 nuevos soles, meaning that the proposal is viable and provides profitability to the company.
