Abstract

Besides aganglionosis, there is no clear correlation between histomorphology and function of the bowel. Therefore functional diagnosis of chronic constipation is of great importance for the diagnosis and treatment of Hirschsprung's disease (HD) and allied disorders. © 2008 Springer-Verlag.
