Abstract

(From the chapter) the following questions are addressed: (a) what, if any, neuropsychological deficits are associated with high-level autism / (b) what similarities and dissimilarities in neuropsychological profiles exist across levels of cognitive functioning / (c) do the neuropsychological deficits seen in high-level autism resemble those seen in other neurological, psychiatric, and developmental disorders, or are they specific to autism / several neuropsychological domains and localization hypotheses are covered in an attempt to answer these questions (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2007 APA )
