Pixel-based analysis of information dashboard attributes

Abstract

This paper focuses on pixel-based usability guidelines and their use for an information dashboard user interface.The first part of the paper examines existing usability design advices, presents existing pixel-based metrics and make suggestions of new ones.The second part presents results of pixel-based analyses performed on two groups of welldesigned dashboards and randomly chosen dashboards.Results of these two groups are compared and their differences are discussed.
