Abstract

An interview with Dr. Gary Slutkin, founder of Cure Violence, a nongovernment organization that looks at violence as a health epidemic, is presented. He discussed the areas of focus of Cure Violence, its workers called violence interrupters who mostly had experienced violence themselves, and its successes. He also mentioned a bit of his background, his inspiration, and his relaxation methods.
