Abstract

This conference proceedings contains 62 papers on computer aided chemical process engineering. Topics discussed include an industrial perspective of computer aided process engineering, computer aided modeling of complex chemical processes, process dynamics simulation and adaptive process control, computer integrated process engineering and on-line optimization of process operations, new developments in the use of computers in process engineering, simulation and modeling issues in computer aided process engineering, and reviews of current trends and future needs in the development of computer aided process engineering software tools and support systems.
