Abstract

Objective: To discuss effects of emotional nursing care cooperated with acupuncture points massage for post-stroke patients with insomnia. Method: randomly divided 50 cases of post-stroke patient with insomniainto two groups. Control group was given routine nursing care, and observation group was given emotional nursing care cooperated with acupuncture points massage. Result: There was significant difference between the effective rates for insomnia treatment of these two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: emotioal nursing care cooperated with acupuncture points massage was effective to improve sleeping quality of post-stroke patients, which improved their quality of life. © 2012 IEEE.
