Abstract

In response to the instability phenomenon of the weak signal detection process based on the single chaotic oscillator, an improved method which detects the weak signal by adjusting the system to reach a stable chaotic state is proposed. This method combines the chaotic attractor and double differential oscillator detection, and decides the critical value from chaos to period by the double differential oscillators at the same time. The simulation shows that this method can avoid misjudgment effectively and has a good real-time performance, which is beneficial to weak signal detection under the strong noise background, and it provides a referential method for practical engineering application. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
