Abstract

The teacher education public course is a compulsory basic course for non-pedagogical normal students in normal universities, and it is an important course for the formation of teachers’ professional identity and educational ideal. Based on the connotation and significance of the curriculum ideological and political education and the current situations, the curriculum characteristics and the educational situation of the implementation of the teachers’ education public courses, the design of the platform for the ideological and political education of teachers’ education public courses in teachers’ colleges and universities based on the video-on-demand technology is not only in line with the trend of the times, but also more in line with the comprehensive requirements of the current ideological and political education. Through the combination of the data compression technology, the network technology and the database technology, we can make full use of the campus network to serve teachers’ education public courses in normal universities and improve the teaching quality of schools.
