Abstract

The article discusses a conference paper about short message service (SMS) reminder service by the Partington Family Practice for patients, that was presented at the International Conference for Healthcare and Medical Students (ICHAMS) held in Dublin, Ireland from October 11-12, 2013. It examines effectiveness of the service in reducing the DNA rates of service resistant patients. It discusses an audit of patients records who booked appointments with a general practitioner (GP).
