Abstract

Particularly emphasises 1) systematic prosopographic analysis of published taxonomic literature, which should aid in identifying and documenting gaps in our knowledge and, thus, research directions; and 2) the need to foster effective political and other support for more detailed programmes of inventory, botanical research, database development and conservation planning. -from Author
