With its appearance, the Islamic State consolidates itself as an international threat, and becomes the key element of the restructuring of international relations, the configuration of new alliances, and certainly, the stimulus for the creation of scenarios that were previously considered as unlikely regarding the Middle East; between them it establishes as one of the catalyst components of the kurdish irredentism and its project for an independent state. The reappearance of the kurdish in the international sphere, empowered by the Islamic State as it is, at first, the only group with the capability to face it, generates tensions in the region, because the consolidation of Kurdistan could alter the territorial structure of four States in particular, as well as the political and commercial relations, directly impacting the relative stability that has persisted during the XXI century.
