Abstract

The article deals with topical issues of the functioning and development of mining companies in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, on the territory of which competitive investment projects are being implemented, ensuring the creation of new high-performance jobs. The author studies the organizational and technical characteristics of mining companies in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. An important role in the article is played by the structure of the special economic zone under study, on the basis of which geological exploration is carried out; extraction of hydrocarbon resources and raw materials; development of new deposits on the shelf of the Kara and Barents Seas. The author touches upon the most important aspects of the regulation of mining companies in the context of the creation by the state of preferential regimes for entrepreneurial initiatives in the field of development of new deposits and improving the efficiency of mining.
