“El perfil del turista deportivo en el campeonato europeo de remo 2013”

Abstract

The study has addressed the analysis of the profile of the European Rowing Championships 2013´s sport tourist. 118 attendees� characteristics (43 women and 75 men) were examined, being 69 foreign and 49 Spanish. The main findings show that the profile of the sport tourist is an unmarried man of 35 who attend with a companion in the case of Spaniards and up to four people the foreigners. Also, foreign attendees reveal a greater attendance at sporting events yearly and a greater number of overnight stays together with an increased spending both per day and in accommodation.
