Abstract

The article is devoted to analysis of the dynamics of world prices for gold. We consider the problem of detecting hidden periodicities and establish them on the basis of regularities in the structure of the analyzed time series. As a mathematical tool of solving the problem involved the machine structure functions A. N. Kolmogorov. In structural analysis have developed two approaches: the first one is the only study self-similar properties, the second one oscillates components with structural functions. In this paper an attempt was made to combine these two approaches. For example the dynamics of world prices for gold shows that the boundaries of the ranges of self-similar growth structure functions are interrelated with their local lows and been in aggregate they account for almost periods on the basis of which establishes the rhythmic structure of time series. Structural analysis of the dynamics of world prices for gold showed the presence of a secular cycle, within which is formed the structure of the three cycles of thirty years duration. Thirty years of rhythm manifested in the dynamics of prices and dynamics of world production of gold. Unstable phase of development falls on the period 2017–2041 years Dynamics of prices for gold in these years will be different fluctuations. #CSOC1120.
