Development of macro VBA as a TPACK based-physics learning media to improve critical thinking skills

Abstract

The 4.0 industrial revolution gives an effect for education. Students learn the daily physics problem solving by using technology. Researchers gave the questionnaire to understand the need of learning media that can improve students' critical thinking skills. The samples are fifty-one students who are given the test of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in pretest and post test. Researchers found the facilities of the school supported learning activity with the ICT media. We interviewed teachers to know how physics is learned in school. We developed the media by using 4D methods. The media were validated by the lecturers, teachers and peer viewers. It is proven could improve the critical thinking skills by the significant differences between pretest and post-test.
