Abstract

In this paper, we present a novel method to simulating incompressible fluids and solids in real time. To accurately simulate the coupling, both fluids and solids are described by particles, thus the need to define an interface for coupling disparate fluids and solids models is eliminated, and the interaction between them can be achieved naturally without the complex coupling interface. The coupling method is entirely implemented on GPUs using CUDA. The method is tested in the scenario of ship sailing, and the result show the advantages of the method.
