Abstract

Dermatomyositis (DM) is an idiopathic inflammatory disease affecting primarily the muscles. It is accompanied by many cutaneous changes some of which are pathognomonic for DM. Clinically it has a wide range of manifestation. In certain patients it is associated with some internal malignancy. The present review focuses on the diverse cutaneous signs seen in DM.
