Abstract

This article presents the results of an Action research intended to understand how activism, mediated by digital technologies, can contribute to Global Citizenship Education. The study was developed throughout 2017 year in three educational institutions of two Latin American countries: Colombia and Chile. The results allowed to identify that the students of these schools promote reflection and generation of conscience around issues that concern humanity such as gender violence, through various initiatives supported in the creation of virtual spaces and in activism based in digital technologies.
