Music retrieval and recommendation based on musical tempo

Abstract

In this study, we offered an automatic recommendation technique that retrieves based on musical tempo and physiological index for the purposes of relaxation and refreshment As an physiological index, we used LF/HF ratio for our retrieval system. As a reason that using LF/HF ratio, we think LF/HF ratio has the merit to measure easily with mobile device, and can apply the result for the retrieval compared with the other several method to measure mental conditions.
