Determination of centre of origin in gunshot analysis using triangular fuzzy number

Abstract

In any bloodstain pattern analysis determination of Centre of origin is very important study for crime scene reconstruction. In this paper we will use triangular fuzzy number for the location of the bloodstains found on the crime scene and direction cosines of the path followed by the bloodstains. A method will be proposed for determination of point of intersection of the trajectories of blood drops (Centre of origin).
