This book sought to advance the discussions about the Systematic Literature Review (SLR). As the volume of publications grows, discussions on how to generate knowledge through the scientific and technological literature belonging to World 3 become essential. Although the individual results of existing research in World 3 can bring important evidence about a given phenomenon, their explanatory capacity and potential for generalization are amplified when evaluated together. Consequently, the ability to develop a comprehensive and systemic view of the body of research has assumed a central role in this context, a fact that has increased the search for methodological procedures capable of delivering these capabilities.
