Abstract

This paper presents a system solution to distribute and share school multimedia resources effectively. Especially, the paper presents the importance and feasibility of the location-based service in personalized, distributed and interactive multimedia system for digital campus. We focus on building a wireless roaming network platform in mobile applications, together with the characteristics of reliability, security, scalability and other design principles, such as object-oriented design patterns. Our goal is to achieve the multimedia content distribution and sharing information in the wireless roaming network by designing system function modules and terminal server application modules. The results demonstrate that the designed system can provide a channel for external communication for school management level, and a platform for internal resource sharing. The designed system can also provide a channel for independent study and information exchange platform for school staff and visitors.
