Abstract

After going through the previous chapters of this book, you now have a good understanding of the source control capabilities of Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC). Branching is the most important capability of any source control system because it helps the development team to manage their source code in isolation while creating new features and hotfixes. You will learn about the branching capabilities of Team Foundation Version Control throughout this chapter.
