Evaluación del mantenimiento correctivo a equipo médico en hospital de especialidades pediátricas en Costa Rica

Abstract

The main purpose of this work is to analyze the corrective maintenance of medical technology done by the Area of Medical Equipment Maintenance of a pediatric specialties hospital in Costa Rica during 2005-2006 period, in order to identify the clinical services and medical equipment of most frequent failures; so that a maintenance strategy will be proposed to demonstrate that a correct technological management guarantees the optimal use of all institution's technological resources, contributing on the other hand to make patients stay at hospital safety. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2007.
