Abstract

Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) are becoming the most important networks for various applications like preparation and response for emergencies, for military and crisis management, and for healthcare to name a few, thanks to the recent developments in computer and communication technologies. A quality-aware energy routing protocol (CL-QAERP) is developed on the basis of a cross layer. In comparison with existing protocols, the proposed routing protocols have demonstrated better results. The packet delivery rate of transmission has increased significantly through multiple routing paths selected based on the efficiency. Simulation can be done with network simulator ns-2 for the proposed approach. The findings have been analysed for packet delivery, packet drop, energy consumption, delay, and node performance. And it concentrated mainly on increasing the duration of the network. POLITIC protocol has been presented as a solution to existing methodology.
