Abstract

The evolution and development of minimally invasive (minimal access) pediatric endosurgery has depended on the evolution and development of equipment and instrumentation technology. Our past, current, and future successes in the field of endoscopic pediatric surgery for even our smallest, most delicate patients has been, and will be, dictated not so much by the willingness and talents of pediatric surgeons, but by the equipment available to them. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2008.
