Abstract

Abstract. Each company can provide motivation to employees through employee relations activities, one of which is PT Excommerce Digital Indonesia. The company's employee relations activities are carried out through the Management Development Program (MDP) training program. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was obtained from the results of in-depth interviews, field observations, and literature studies. Data analysis techniques in this study were data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study show that employee relations activities through the Management Development Program (MDP) training program have supported PT Excommerce Digital Indonesia's employee motivation. To determine training instructors, PT Excommerce Digital Indonesia sets three criteria, namely teaching skills, communication skills, and emotional stability. As for the communication techniques that the instructors used in this MDP training, namely informative communication techniques and human relations. In addition, the training methods used by the MDP training instructors are the Simulation Method from Experience: 70%, the Interaction Method with other people: 20%, and the Formal Education Method: 10%. Abstrak. Memberikan motivasi kepada karyawan melalui kegiatan employee relations dapat dilakukan oleh tiap perusahaan salah satunya adalah PT Excommerce Digital Indonesia. Kegiatan employee relations yang perusahaan tersebut lakukan ialah melalui program pelatihan Management Development Programme (MDP). Penelitian ini penting dilakukan agar diperoleh data akurat tentang implementasi employee relations yang dapat dijadikan rujukan dan diadopsi oleh perusahaan sejenis dalam mengadakan program pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Selain itu, program employee relations yang selama ini dikelola bidang Public Relations dapat menemukan bentuk kegiatan yang lebih dinamis dan kreatif dalam mengembangkan kompetensi dan motivasi karyawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data didapat dari hasil wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, serta studi pustaka. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dengan mereduksi data, menyajikan data, penarikan simpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan employee relations melalui program pelatihan Management Development Programme (MDP) telah mendukung dalam memotivasi kerja karyawan PT Excommerce Digital Indonesia. Untuk menetapkan instruktur pelatihan, PT Excommerce Digital Indonesia menetapkan tiga kriteria, yaitu Teaching skills, Communications skills, dan stabilitas emosi. Adapun teknik komunikasi yang instruktur gunakan pada pelatihan MDP ini, yakni teknik komunikasi informatif dan human relations. Selain itu, metode pelatihan yang diterapkan oleh instruktur pelatihan MDP adalah Metode Simulasi dari Pengalaman: 70%, Metode Interaksi dengan orang lain: 20%, dan Metode Pendidikan Formal: 10%.
