Abstract

Reactive power system optimization is one of the core thesis of safe and economic operation, reactive power optimization planning is a more complex, multi-target, nonlinear mixed-planning. Its goal is to meet the restrictive conditions under the premise of the system of indicators or more of a target to achieve optimal. Based on the analysis of reactive power distribution network optimization facing difficulties a PSO algorithm is presented, combined with IEEE30 node test system using particle swarm algorithm. The results show that the optimization method is conducive to raising the reactive power distribution network optimization level. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.
