Abstract

We describe a system for the entry and editing of music in lute tablature. The editor provides instant visual and MIDI feedback, mouse and keyboard controls, a macro recording facility, and full run-time extensibility. We conclude by discussing planned future functionality and considering other potential applications for the technology. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2006.
