Abstract

Four new cannabinoid acids, tetrahydrocannabivarinic acid, cannabidivarinic acid, cannabichromevarinic acid and cannabigerovarinic acid were isolated from Thai Cannabis, ‘Meao variant’ and these structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectral data. This is the first example of the isolation of propyl cannabinoid acid from Cannabis. © 1977, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan. All rights reserved.
