Abstract

With the development of the human society, the fashion design has deepened its practical, aesthetic and economic awareness, and constantly enriching the styles, colors, materials and decorations. The computer aided design, such as color matching, volume measurement and tailoring drawing, opens up a new way of the garment design. Under the background of the mature development of the computer technology, this technology has been widely penetrated into every field of our society. The course of fashion design in colleges and universities aims to cultivate students’ cognitive and application abilities in the fashion forms and colors. The combination of the computer technology and the fashion design in colleges and universities is more conducive to the improvement of students’ professional abilities. The increasingly strong social demand for the garment CAD requires us to constantly update the teaching contents, select the advanced garment CAD software, explore the advanced and reasonable teaching methods and means, and train the required talents for the society.
