The aim of this work is to show the distribution in time and space of seismic activity exhibited in the area of Adriatic Sea or the Adria microplate searching for any possible intercorrelation between different parts of circum Adriatic region. Based on the generalized tectonic setting of the contact between Adriatic block and Surrounded mountain chains, we Subdivided 6 zones in our study area and constructed two working catalogues of earthquakes. Some characteristics of seismic activity as number of earthquakes, maximal magnitude, mean depth, b coefficient, and seismic energy release are investigated for each zone. From the statistical analysis a strong correlation is also revealed for some of the zones of peri-Adriatic region.
