Riscos do trabalho dos motociclistas profissionais: estratégias de prevenção e regulação

Abstract

This study aimed to recognize, according to the interviewees' point of view, the forms of prevention employed and the causes of collision accidents that occurred with motorcycle couriers (MC) during the work period. The research was conducted in a large city in the interior of Minas Gerais, using the qualitative methodology "History of Life" and interviewed three MC, who were differentiated according to their experiences with the type of accident experienced. The results revealed that: 1) the choice for work is due to the difficulty of access of the young and male population to the formal labor market
