Abstract
The article focuses on the role of an infection control preventionist (ICP) that been involved in emergency management since the 1990. It mentions the role of ICP in emergency preparedness and management for: emerging diseases, pandemics, and bioterrorism attacks; and also highlights the serving of acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) commission.
